The overall objective of Elbon Development and Relief Organization (EDRO) is to assist the people of South western zone of Somalia in their
efforts to improve their lives through selected interventions in areas of Nutrition, health, water, sanitation & hygiene, livelihood, food and NFI
distributions and protection.
Objectivies
- To prevent, treat and cure malnutrition and diseases through improving health system and access.
- Give emergency assistance to less fortunate members of society affected by famine, floods, wars etc.
- To improve the quality and accessibility of drinking water
- To support the education and improve talent skills for youth and women.
- Improve food security and income generation activities.
- Protection through cash injection and safety net.
Strategic goal
To contribute to the realization of stable, self-sufficient and developments in Somalia, within the context of a Somalia transitioning from state-failure to recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Strategic Objectivies
- To participate in the delivery of the much needed aid to the most affected members of the population.
- Be part of the improvement of life standard and development indicators of Somali people.
- To be part in improvement in the local capacities for emergency response, rehabilitation and recovery among local target communities.
